Geoff has over 40 years’ experience in the development and construction industry. He initially trained as an architect and his extensive career includes work on Asda and Co-op retail stores, Health Authority buildings and both private and affordable housing. He also has international work experience from time spent in the Middle East, West Africa and France.

Geoff was elected as a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and became a Registered Architect in 1977. He was an early member of the Association for Project Management and was responsible in part for setting the entry qualifications.

For a number of years he was the Course Director for the MSc degree in Property Development (Project Management) offered by London South Bank University. He also undertook the role of external student visitor for the Welsh School of Architecture. Whilst running the Churchill Hui office in France he was elected as a Member of the French Order of Architects.

Since his retirement in 2017 Geoff continues to work with Churchill Hui in a consultative, mentoring and training capacity. He has a special interest in historic buildings, particularly churches.
